Proximadomains data sources
What feeds Proximadomains, what counts as registered, and where the limitations are.
Registered-domain index
Proximadomains uses a stored registered-domain index to decide whether a result currently appears registered. That index powers existing-search views and gives the site a reference point for distinguishing existing names from prospective candidates.
Search parts and vectors
The site also relies on derived search parts and vector-based similarity signals so that domain relationships are not limited to exact string matches. That helps surface nearby names that share structure, sound, or concept even when they are not obvious alphabetical neighbors.
Why the index is not a guarantee
Registration status can change after the index is built. A domain can also be unavailable at a registrar for reasons that do not show up cleanly in the current stored dataset. That is why the site frames prospective results as research leads rather than promises.
